Calling all Eco-Schools! Get involved in the Great Big School Clean 2020!

Join the Great Big School Clean on our national action day on Friday 20 March. We would like to see all schools out on 20 March to stand together and declare that litter is simply not acceptable.

Although we are encouraging schools to take part on the day of action, the campaign runs from 20 March - 13 April 2020 across the UK. The campaign falls within the Easter holidays this year so that parents, grandparents and guardians can get involved! More information is available in the Great Big School Clean guide.

Why get involved?

Clean-ups can be fun and rewarding. Pupils are able to make a positive difference to their local area and the world they live in, creating strong links with the local community and raising environmental awareness.

Litter picking provides opportunities for learning with links to the Curriculum and can count towards your Eco-Schools Green Flag award.

By simply registering your clean-ups during 20 March - 13 April your school will also be in with a chance to win £1,000 in Wilko vouchers!
