Climate Change Training

All of our courses are provided free of charge and facilitated by experienced Keep Wales Tidy Staff. All virtual training will be run through Microsoft Teams. You can join via a web browser if you do not have Teams on your device.

This exciting new training session has been designed to help ensure that teachers feel comfortable and confident when developing and delivering learning experiences linked to Climate Change. The course will include understanding the science and engaging ways to communicate it, what impact we are seeing locally and globally and ways to reduce our impact on our climate. We will provide activities and ideas to use when teaching young people to facilitate understanding and inspire positive action.

The training will be split into two virtual sessions to enable participants to get the most out of the training. Each session will include practical activities and small discussion sessions as well as plenty of opportunities to ask questions. When booking, you will need to choose a suitable time for session 1 and session 2. (please ensure that session 1 is a date before session 2).

Dates have been released for the Autumn term. We plan to run additional sessions in the Spring term, including through the medium of Welsh.

All materials available bilingually.

To complete this booking, you will need to select an option from Part 1 AND Part 2 below. Please ensure the date of training for Part 2 is AFTER Part 1.
