We currently have a vacancy on our dynamic Board for a Treasurer/Finance expert. It is a role that will give you the opportunity for real personal development.

The Treasurer will oversee the financial matters of the charity in line with good practice and in accordance with the governing document and legal requirements, and report to the Board of Trustees at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation. The Treasurer will ensure that effective financial measures, controls and procedures are put in place, and are appropriate for the charity.

We are looking for passionate people, innovative individuals with enthusiasm for our values and the financial skills and acumen to help us deliver our objectives and services as effectively as possible and to take the charity on our continuing bold journey.

This is a voluntary, unpaid appointment, although reasonable travel expenses will be paid.

You will be prepared to attend at least four Board meetings a year and the Audit Committee that meets each quarter.

Please let us have your completed forms by midday on 28 September and email to [email protected]

We will be inviting shortlisted candidates to meet with us, allowing us the opportunity to learn more of your experiences and ideas. Successful appointees will be invited to attend our next Board meeting, to be held on 22 September.
