  1. About us

Our Ambassadors

We’re supported by incredible ambassadors who help us spread the word – encouraging people across Wales to take charge of their local environment.

Michael Sheen

Hollywood actor, Michael Sheen, shares our vision of a beautiful Wales that is cared for and that can be enjoyed by everyone. He is passionate about our Eco-Schools programme and our work with communities.

Our local environment has a huge impact on our health and wellbeing and how we feel about ourselves. We need to work together to restore areas and make them places where people want to go. I think that it’s important to be involved with a charity like Keep Wales Tidy, so that together, we can restore community pride and feel good about where we live. I’m especially impressed by the work done with schools and communities which supports and encourages people from all walks of life to get involved.

Tom Shanklin

Former Welsh rugby champion, Tom Shanklin, is committed to protecting our environment for now and for the future. Since becoming an ambassador, Tom has helped raise vital funds for Keep Wales Tidy, taking part in a number of events, including a mammouth bike ride from Holyhead to Cardiff.

I am honoured that Keep Wales Tidy asked me to become an ambassador for the charity. I have met staff and volunteers who work extremely hard to do their bit for the environment, and I’m really impressed with their determination and passion. I hope that as an Ambassador I can work with some of these people and encourage others to make a positive difference.
