Dating back to 1990, the Tidy Wales Awards honours environmental heroes – the individuals, groups, schools, and businesses that go above and beyond to care for our beautiful country.
This year’s event is more special than usual as it marks the end of a year in which we have celebrated 50 years of working with volunteers and partners to make Wales a more beautiful place to live.
Nominations are closed.
Shortlisted individuals, groups, and organisations were invited to attend the Tidy Wales Awards ceremony on 19 April at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
Our winners came from communities all across Wales and are delivering a whole range of environmental work. Find out more about the winners of the Tidy Wales Awards 2023 here.
In addition to some of our well known categories, this year we’ve developed new categories to showcase all the incredible, innovative projects taking place across Wales. There are ten Tidy Wales Awards:
The tenth award is The Keep Wales Tidy Outstanding Achievement Award. This recognises the best of the best.
The winners of each of the other nine categories will be considered and one, overall winner will be chosen.
Nominations are welcome in English or Welsh.
All nominations must be submitted by midday on Monday 6 March. Nominations received after this time will not be considered.
